Following the Mystery

A Music-Driven Science Assembly for Elementary Schools

Inquire About Booking the Science Assembly

A new science assembly—now booking for fall dates
This program is currently in development and will be ready for performances beginning in September 2026.

What if science didn’t start with answers—but with excitement?

Following the Mystery is a high-energy, music-driven science assembly that invites students to explore big ideas through original songs, movement, and curiosity. Instead of memorizing facts, kids are encouraged to notice, wonder, and follow questions wherever they lead.

This is science as an adventure - full of joy and alive with curiosity.

What Students Will Experience

  • Original songs that bring science concepts to life
  • Big ideas presented in an age-appropriate, engaging way
  • Active participation that keeps students energized and focused
  • A sense that science isn’t just something you study—it’s something you do

The show is designed for elementary school assemblies and works beautifully in gymnasiums, cafeterias, and multi-purpose rooms.

Songs & Science Themes

The program features original songs that explore key science ideas, including:

  • The Solar System
  • Adventures of a Water Drop (The Water Cycle)
  • Shake Shake Shake (Earthquakes and Volcanoes)
  • Following the Mystery (a song about curiosity, discovery, and real scientists)
  • Bones in the Ground (exploring dinosaurs from a paleontological perspective)

Each song opens a door—inviting students to look closer, ask questions, and stay curious about the world around them.

Why This Assembly Works for Schools

  • Designed specifically for large elementary audiences
  • Supports science and STEM-related learning through curiosity and engagement
  • Encourages observation, questioning, and exploration
  • Age-appropriate, inclusive, and energetic
  • Led by an experienced school assembly performer using music as the engine

This is not a lecture - and it’s not a passive show.
It’s an experience that gets kids excited about science.

About the Approach

I start every show with a song. I’m a songwriter first—and music is the way I help big ideas land with young audiences. In Following the Mystery, songs become the spark that turns science into something students can feel, remember, and carry with them.
